SPINNING
The spinning program is the original Star Trac motivational group cycling class. And it’s not just because spinning is an unmatched way to make your fitness goals a reality. With no complicated moves to learn, top notch instructors and music that begs your legs to peddle, getting into the best shape of your life has never been so much fun.
SPINNING FOR BEGINERS
Ideal for those new to the spinning programmes who want to get a taster of this great class. Will teach you the basic skills / techniques and fitness needed to take on the longer and more advanced classes, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
AEROBICS
A fun packed Hi/ Lo cardio workout that suits all levels. Motivating moves and music to help work off those unwanted calories, burn fat and improve the heart. Lots of fun and the best way to start the day. Guaranteed to work the smile muscle. An hour long class with 45 minute aerobic work followed by a short stretch and abdominal blast.
STEP
Is a cardiovascular work out using a step box. A mixture of easy and complex choreography to music, ideal for a complete fat burning workout. Great for everyone.
BODY CONDITIONING / TONE
An all over body conditioning workout aimed at sculpting and strengthening the muscles in the body using a wide variety of equipment. This approach ensures that the body is constantly challenged and you will see progressive results. From beginner to the more experienced, this class can be adapted for all levels.
BOXERCISE
A great aerobic / toning class which helps with weight loss and fat burning. It is a non contact form of boxing / kick boxing training. All punches and kicks are demonstrated at the beginning of every class. The class will help with your hand and foot co-ordination.
POWER STATIONS / CIRCUITS CLASS
A circuit based high tempo class designed to give you a complete body workout. Part cardiovascular part toning; this class concentrates on keeping the heart rate high burning those calories whilst toning each area of the body at the same time.
The class consists of a short warm up followed by an intense circuit routine, finished off with an abdominal workout and a cool down. It is aimed at people with all levels of fitness.
AQUACISE / AQUA AEROBICS
A pool based class that provides both a cardio workout and muscle toning workout using both the water and aqua resistance equipment. All levels welcome, including post surgery / rehabilitation / pre & post natal.
HATHA YOGA / YOGA CHILL
Gentle Hatha yoga to sooth the mind and body. Relaxing music to help you flow in and out of your yoga postures. Yoga improves your health and well being, builds stamina, strength and flexibility. An hour long class with 50 minutes in yoga postures and ending with a 10 minute breathing and relaxing session. Suitable for all levels.
FITNESS PILATES
This hour long class will help improve posture, core strength, balance, flexibility and relive stress and tension. Your muscles toned and strengthened, your flexibility increased and core strength improved. Change your body shape to one you have always dreamt about. Gentle music assists you to move through the exercises at your own pace. Suitable for all levels.
FITNESS YOGA
A fitness program that incorporates deep stretch, yoga postures and Pilates. Improves flexibility, posture and strength. Suitable for beginners to advanced.
BUMS AND TUMS
Great toning class working the abdominal area as well as the legs and bum. The class needs very little co-ordination and is good for your posture. The equipment used in the class would vary from a fitness ball, small hand weight mat and sometimes a box.
